What should have been a birthday celebration in Crossfire Creek turns into a deadly trap. The lights die without warning inside the Crossfire Ops training hangar as sleet pounds the roof and rotors thunder overhead. Team leader Noah Riggs has opened the facility for his niece’s eighteenth birthday, filling a space meant for tactical drills with streamers, paintball gear, and the easy laughter of friends and family. Among the guests are Gage Kellan and Rena Calloway, two injured new recruits still fighting their way back from trauma. Gage is sidelined by a damaged shoulder, and Rena haunted by the crash that ended her career as a fighter pilot.
When armed attackers descend under cover of the storm, cutting power and communications and sealing off the hangar and adjoining headquarters, the party becomes a kill zone. Trapped with terrified civilians and hunted operatives, Gage and Rena are forced to act before they’re ready. As the attackers close in with a vendetta against Crossfire Ops, the untested trainees must rely on instinct, ingenuity, and each other because surviving the night means stepping into the fight, or losing everything inside those walls.
