A series of collectible stickers produced by Topps, Garbage Pail Kids were designed to parody the overly saccharine Cabbage Patch Kids, a toy doll fad in the 1980s.
This outrageous series was the brainchild of legendary cartoonist Art Spiegelman, who, in collaboration with artists Mark Newgarden, John Pound, Tom Bunk, Jay Lynch, and James Warhola, created a pop-culture phenomenon.
The book includes a introduction by Spiegelman and an afterword by Pound.
