I just fainted in the teachers’ lounge, and woke up in the arms of a firefighter.

My face went hot, and I tried to laugh with them, but his arm tightened around me instead.
He looked down at me in his arms, and growled loud enough for all of them to hear,
"Are we still on for dinner tonight at seven, Ms. Cummins?"
