This illustration helps demonstrate the 2-part, 2-party nature of Reconciliation found in 2 Corinthians chapter 5 -- 1) God reconciled the world unto himself because of the work of Jesus Christ on the cross, and now 2) God, through the ambassador, beseeches humans to be reconciled to God; to be satisfied with the work of Christ on behalf of the human.\u003cbr\u003e\n \u003cbr\u003e\n Almost 2000 years into this historical period of New Testament books and people read the words on the Bible page and still say, \"Jesus did not die for the sins of all people in the world.\" It seems amazing! How can it be!
